The Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA), under the Global Pharma Quality Summit (GPQS), invites nominations for the Lifetime Achievement Award: Excellence in Pharmaceutical Operations & Quality in Academia. This national recognition honours sustained, long-term contribution to pharmaceutical operations and quality through academic leadership, with measurable impact on the Indian pharmaceutical industry. Contributions may be reflected through knowledge leadership and research excellence, mentorship of postgraduate and doctoral scholars, leadership and service, institutional influence, and academic practices driving outcomes for industry.

Eligibility

15+ years of academic experience
5+ years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Head of Department or equivalent)
Demonstrated contributions beyond routine responsibilities, evidenced through one or more of:
- Knowledge Leadership: publications/patents/books
- Industry / Societal Impact: initiatives adopted beyond the nominee’s organisation
- Mentorship: PG/PhD scholars and students guided
- Leadership & Service: roles in professional and/or industry bodies
- Peer Recognition: national/sector awards or recognised fellowships

Nomination route: Institutions, professional bodies, industry leaders, and jury members may nominate. Self-nominations are not accepted

Submission Deadline

Nominations close: 06 February 2026, 11:59 PM IST

Shortlisted nominees will be evaluated through eligibility screening, rubric-based shortlisting, and final jury assessment. Winners will be announced at the 11th GPQS on 24 February 2026.

Recognition

Commemorative honour: A co-branded IPA–GPQS citation and trophy presented at the GPQS conferral ceremony.
Honorarium: An award honorarium of INR 4 lakhs, in recognition of the awardee’s sustained contributions and enduring impact

The Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA), under the Global Pharma Quality Summit (GPQS), invites nominations for the IPA Academic Excellence Award: AI or Digital Project in Operations & Quality. This award recognises high-quality applied projects in digital technologies, advanced analytics, or artificial intelligence (AI) that strengthen pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality systems. Submissions must be based on projects completed within the past two years, with at least one measurable outcome (prototype, model, or experimental validation completed)

Eligibility

Who can apply (through institutional nomination):

Pharma, Biotech, or Chemical Engineering graduates/post-graduates, and PhD scholars from reputed institutes.
Team size: 4–5 members, including a faculty guide.

Project eligibility:

Maximum of three entries per institution will be permitted.
The project topic should focus on the application of digital technologies, advanced analytics, or AI within pharmaceutical operations and quality.
The nominee group must have completed the submitted project/research within the past two years.
The project must demonstrate at least one measurable outcome (prototype, model, or experimental validation completed).
Entries should be endorsed by the Principal or Vice Chancellor of the institution.

Shortlisted nominees/teams will undergo a structured evaluation process comprising eligibility screening, rubric-based shortlisting, and final jury assessment. Winners will be announced during a dedicated awards segment at the 11th GPQS on 24 February 2026.

Recognition

Trophy/Medal: A physical symbol of national recognition co-branded with IPA and GPQ
GPQS Platform: Opportunity to present at the GPQS.
Cash Prize: Up to INR 6 lakhs in total, to be awarded to three projects under tiered prize levels
